Terms of use

Last updated 26 October 2026

These terms explain the deal when you use StoDesk. We've kept them short and in plain English. By using StoDesk you agree to them.

In short

  • StoDesk is free to use, with or without an account.
  • What you put in StoDesk is yours. We only store it to provide the service.
  • Use it lawfully, don't abuse it, and don't store passwords or bank details in it.
  • It's provided as it is, with no warranties and no liability on our part, so keep backups of anything important.

1. About these terms

StoDesk (stodesk.app) is run by Charles Kelly, based in the United Kingdom ("StoDesk", "we", "us"). These terms apply to your use of the website and any account you create. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your data and forms part of these terms.

2. Using StoDesk

You can use StoDesk without an account. Your setup is then saved only in your browser on that device. You can optionally sign in with Google to sync your setup between devices. You must be at least 13 to create an account, and you're responsible for keeping your Google account secure and for activity under your account.

3. Price

StoDesk is currently free. If we ever introduce paid features, we'll tell you the price and terms clearly before you're asked to pay anything, and nothing you already use for free will start charging you without your agreement. See our refund policy.

4. Your content

Everything you add to StoDesk (links, notes, photos, to-dos, prompts, snippets, business details, colours, fonts and settings) remains yours. If you sign in, you give us permission to store, copy and display your content only as needed to run StoDesk for you, such as syncing it between your devices. We don't claim ownership, we don't publish it, and we don't use it to train AI models or for advertising.

You're responsible for your content and for having the right to store it. You can export a full copy at any time from Settings → General → Export setup.

5. Acceptable use

Please don't:

6. Other websites and services

StoDesk shows links, page titles, website icons and fonts that come from other websites and services. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or availability. Opening a link takes you to a site with its own terms and privacy policy.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to keep StoDesk fast, reliable and secure, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may improve, change or remove features over time. If we ever decide to close StoDesk, we'll give signed-in users at least 30 days' notice so you can export your data.

8. Ending your use

You can stop using StoDesk at any time. To delete your account and synced data, email hey@chvrleskelly.com. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, and where reasonable we'll tell you first and give you a chance to export your data.

9. No warranty and no liability

StoDesk is a free service provided "as is" and "as available", without any promises or warranties of any kind, express or implied, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure or fit for a particular purpose. Data can be lost through no one's fault (for example if browser storage is cleared), so please keep your own backups of anything important using Export setup.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability to you for any loss or damage of any kind arising from your use of, or inability to use, StoDesk. This includes loss of data or content, loss of profit, revenue, business or opportunity, and any indirect or consequential loss, whether arising in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise.

The law doesn't allow anyone to exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that can't legally be excluded, so nothing in these terms does. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, for example to reflect new features or changes in the law. We'll update the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll let signed-in users know before they take effect. If you keep using StoDesk afterwards, the updated terms apply.

11. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you have a problem, please contact us first and we'll do our best to sort it out. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
